Who can advertise on SaddleBrookeOnline.com?

Individuals and businesses can submit ads and announcements to SaddleBrookeOnline.com. The only requirement is that all ads and announcements must be relevant to SaddleBrooke and its residents.

How do I post an ad?

You must register to post an ad. Click the "Register" link under "Member Options" (left column) to create an account. Registration is free, and you only have to register once. Registered users can "Login" to their account at any time to create new ads.

To create a new ad:

  1. Login to your account. Login link is in left column under "Member Options"
  2. Click "Place and Ad" under Member Options or "Ad a Listing" on your Account Welcome page.
  3. From the drop-down box, select the Category that you want your ad to appear in. Click the Continue button.
  4. Select the Ad Package from the available options. (Note: some categories are reserved exclusively for Business Ads. Only Business Ad Packages are available in those cases).
  5. After you select your Ad Package, you will be taken to a page where you will enter your ad text.
    • Title - the headline for your ad
    • Price - for the item you are selling, if applicable
    • Link to your Website - if applicable & available for your selected Ad Package
    • Short description - describing item you are selling or summary of your announcement
    • Description - full details for your ad or announcement
    • Extra Options - If available for your Ad Package, you can elect to add special features to make your ad more visible, including a) Featuring your Ad on the home page; b) Bolding your Ad title; c) Highlighting your listing so it stands out.
    • Click Continue to proceed to the next page.
  6. If you Ad Package allows images, you can now add an image title, and then click the Browse button to browse your computer for the image file you want to upload. Select the file and click Continue. Your selected image file will be uploaded and included in your listing.
  7. Continue selecting additional images up the the maximum allowed for your Ad Package. If at any time you want to proceed without adding more images, just click the Skip This Step button.
  8. On the next page, verify that the information from your account is correct; select your Payment Method from the drop-down box; then click Continue.
  9. Verify your Ad Package and price (if any) of your package with any elected Extra Options. Then click Continue to complete the payment process.

Can I change my ad after I have submitted it?

Yes. Just login to your account and select "Modify an Ad." Select the ad you wish to edit and make changes as desired.

Why is my ad not appearing?

Newly submitted ads do not appear right away. They must first be approved by one of our staff. The purpose of this step is to make sure that all ads and announcements are relevant to SaddleBrooke and its residents, and to guarantee that SaddleBrookeOnline.com remains free of abuse. The approval process usually occurs within one business day, frequently within a few hours after you submit your ad. Your ad will appear immediately after approval.
